Six things Fylo does to your ZIP that a plain file host cannot
Each one is a toggle in the Performance panel of your dashboard. Turn it on, the site rebuilds, the cache refreshes. Turn it off and the original comes back.
Image conversion
PNG and JPEG become WebP with a responsive srcset, so a phone downloads a phone-sized image. Below-the-fold images lazy-load.
Font subsetting
Only the characters your pages actually use are kept, and the font is self-hosted on your domain instead of fetched from Google.
Minification
Whitespace and comments stripped from HTML and CSS. Never touches how the page renders.
Delay JavaScript
Scripts wait until the browser is idle or the visitor moves. Anything that must run immediately goes on an exclusion list.
YouTube facades
An embed is replaced with a thumbnail and a play button. The real player loads only when someone clicks.
Edge cache
Your HTML sits in Cloudflare’s edge cache in 330+ cities. Every visitor gets it from the city nearest them.
Image conversion is metered by plan: 10 images a month on Free, 100 on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, 5,000 on Business. Everything else is unmetered.
