Fylo.Host ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our file hosting service at fylo.host.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address and password (hashed) when you register.
• Uploaded files: Files you upload are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
• Usage data: Page views, file views, upload counts, and referrer data via Cloudflare Analytics Engine. No personal identifiers are attached to analytics data.
• IP addresses: Logged briefly by Cloudflare's infrastructure for security and rate limiting. We do not store IP logs ourselves.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Fylo.Host service.
• To send account-related emails (verification, password reset, billing).
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.
• To generate anonymised analytics for platform improvements.

3. File Storage & Retention

Files uploaded by anonymous users are automatically deleted after 30 minutes. Files uploaded by free accounts are deleted after 24 hours. Paid plan files are retained for the duration of your active subscription. You can delete your files at any time from your dashboard.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Cloudflare: Our infrastructure provider processes all traffic. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Payment processors: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment partner. We do not store card details.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with private access by default. We follow industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will process such requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Fylo.Host is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at fylo.host/privacy. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
